Enjoy ds4 button prompts both wired and wirelessly, and without 3rd party mods, drivers, or other crud! Change all three return lines to read " return IDT_PS4 " (without the quotes).Below each of those lines you'll see return.Near the top you'll see lines that say case 'xpad':, case 'ps4pad':, and case 'steampad':.In the contentcontent0scriptsgame directory, open the file in notepad or your favorite text editor. If this fails or you get an error or it breaks the game, restore this file, and also don't blame me, because I warned you to make a backup. Make a backup of the in that directory, (copy it somewhere and save it in case you need to reverse these changes).Navigate from there to contentcontent0scriptsgame.Windows will bring up file explorer to your Witcher 3 install directory (or it might just flash in your taskbar, if so click the flashy thing and find the directory it opened).Choose Manage -> Browse Local Files from the menu.Right click The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt again. On the General tab (the default window that comes up) near the bottom, in the Launch Options textbox, enter -forcescriptcompilation.Go to your steam library, find The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.Ensure Playstation Configuration Support is checked.Click the gear icon in big picture mode, then choose Controller Settings.Open Big Picture in Steam (from the steam UI, choose View -> Big Picture Mode from the menu).Save and exit your game if it is running. This will slightly increase the loading time for the game, but it forces the change in the script that we're about to make to take effect.
